Edina has two solid goalies, don't know which one youre thinking of. Aslesen and Young.

I've been following JGA for a few years now. I'd have to say this years group of goalies are the best I have seen in the league. So to pick one that stands out above all of the rest is difficult. Right now, and subject to change, I like the goalies from Lakeville, Blaine, and Burnsville. All really good and solid players. Too early to pick anyone as my favorite.

I would have to throw tonkas goalie in the mix with 4 shutouts a goals against average of 0.333 and a record of 6-0

Burnsville has both goalies from last year back. Both are playing very well this season.

Michael Larson, Wayzata, #30, returning goalie. He had a super season last year and has started strong again this year.

LaceEm,

Which of your goalies played in the Wayzata game? He is great!

Jake Vinje. He is our senior goalie. He played well against Wayzata and shut out EP. Hopefully he can keep it up. We've got some tough games coming up. Our other goalie is a junior.

I have to disagree with the Blaine goalie, Lakeville goalie, and other Tonka goalie.
Blaine: Heavy kid that takes up the whole net. Nothing special. Gotta give him a little credit for stopping pucks though.
Lakeville: Gives up fat rebounds all day.
Other tonka goalie: got lit up in the 2 games ive seen him play, bad positioning etc.

Best goalie in the state ive seen is the Finnish goalie from Tonka. Solid all around, controls rebounds well. sees through traffic. makes good saves. most of all not cocky, and a good kid.
