eastside over warroad
A shocker in east grand forks tonight.
Its hard to believe but the wave grinded one out against warroad tonight.
a 2-1 victory in the last time i can remember for the greenwave.

This score came as quite a bit of a surprise last night, but one thing points out at me about this year's team and the last couple as well. The goaltending is not quite what it has been during Warroad's runs through the state tournament in the mid 90's through the mid 2000's. Those teams all had a solid tender between the pipes backstopping the defense, and the last few years they have been pretty average back there. Now especially when it comes to sections having to face Gothberg at TRF can be a problem, but now it looks like they might have to worry about Aubol at EGF as well..

I assume you are not blaming (in kind of an oblique fashion) the goalie for their loss as they won't win many games scoring only one goal. Have to put the puck in the net!mn miracle man wrote:This score came as quite a bit of a surprise last night, but one thing points out at me about this year's team and the last couple as well. No I am not blaming this solely on the goalies, I am just stating a point that the goaltending has not been as strong the past couple of years compared to earlier seasons.mohunk wrote:I assume you are not blaming (in kind of an oblique fashion) the goalie for their loss as they won't win many games scoring only one goal.
