Stillwater vs East Ridge 1-12-10

Post by kkkkkkkkkk »

I haven't heard much about East Ridge... ever. Will the ponies be able to put them away?

4-3 Ponies.

ER is better than expected, but not quite good enough to get past Stilly.
Always celly hard.

East Ridge is essentially a group of kids who should be playing JV except for a couple. There are no seniors on the team or in the school until next year.

They are all good players, but they are inexperienced and as a team they do not have the right components to win, but that doesn't take away from them as players if that makes sense.

Stillwater should win this game handily.

I'll make a guess. Must be about halfway through the 2nd period--

Ponies 3

ER 0

Just a guess.

Well, JV stopped on the Raptors 7-0, so that is possible.

Yeah, the cupboards a little bare for the Raptors JV this year. They have some solid players, just not enough of them yet. Same with the varsity.

Give them about 4 years because they have a sea of good young players coming up.

Is that for real. Is that the real score?

Maybe part of the reason for the high score was to embarrass Doug Long?

Stillwater proved that whenever they play hard, they can beat anyone. Now granted, this was a disabled child standing on the corner, but they proved their point. They can put this one right next to all the other quality wins they have.

Ranks right up there with some of your tough conference wins. Better say a few extra prayers, don't want history to repeat itself. You got Richfield coming up and we know what happened last year!!!!

I'm sure this big win will be regarded as a turning point in their season enroute to SW's first ever state tournament berth

God, I almost feel bad for Stillwater winning 13-1 because then all you get is a bunch of WBL and Hill people running their mouths like usual. Correct me if I'm wrong but didnt WBL only beat East Ridge 5-2?
