Any thoughts on the upcoming game with conference championship implications?

Interesting match up here. Cretin had played well for the first month, but i think teams have figured out that if you shut down the first line, the depth is non existant. Woodbury has been playing well of late, and has won the last 5 meetings between them. I would think that Cretin is due for the win, but then reality sets back in. If Woodbury shows up and plays how they are capable this will be no contest. WBY 5 Cretin 1. If Woodbury comes out sluggish they could lose this game. It would mirror the Park loss at 4 to 2.
On any given night, but not this night!
Woodbury wins 5 to 2 and stands on top of the SEC with a overall gaudy record.

Ahhhh!! It IS possible.BogeyMan wrote:Just_Another_Fan wrote:Woodbury-4 w/EN

Are you saying that Cretin is going to pull their tender in a 3-3 tie to "go for the win". I just think that is bad coaching.....but a very bold prediction!!!![]()
I will give you major props if it works out that way!!
Woodbury is up 3-2.. CDH pulls the goalie, Woodbury scores EN to make it 4-2... Moments later, CDH knocks one in to make it 4-3 with EN.

Woodbury 3 CDH 2 Almost lived up to GFD's prediction. Woodbury almost scored on Cretin empty net. The game was not as close as the score would indicate. CDH was never really in it.....Goldfishdude wrote:Ahhhh!! It IS possible.BogeyMan wrote:Just_Another_Fan wrote:Woodbury-4 w/EN

Were you at the same game I was? CDH was never in it? They missed a goal by inches to tie it with about 3 minutes to go and the shots were 25-20 in favor of Cretin! You may need to get your eyes checked.slapstkhound wrote:Woodbury 3 CDH 2 Almost lived up to GFD's prediction. Woodbury almost scored on Cretin empty net. I will say this. Neither of those teams is going anywhere if they play like they did tonight. As bad as Eagan played today, they and AV are better than both CDH and Woodbury in their section. Neither team will be a threat to go to state unless something drastic changes.
Ness and Gaede are the only hope for Woodbury and CDH's first line has to step it up. They looked average tonight at best.

Not sure if this was a game of two good teams balancing each other out or two average teams beating each other up. Overall, I would hve to admit that the Woody's out played us, but overall, either team could have won the one. Woodbury is really not very deep beyone a couple big guns. Our first line however......ish. Both of these teams need to take a hard look at where they want to go.
