Wayzata vs. Edina 2/6

Post by starmvp »

Wayzata coming off a 1-1 tie with Tonka, Edina in a slump. How does it turn out? Game is Saturday at Braemar.

Should be a great game to watch. Braemar is a great venue for any hockey game and this game should be packed. I can't wait to see it! Wayzata should put pressure on the Hornets but you never know what will happen with the home ice crowd.

Big games at Braemar always draw in massive crowds. Should be a battle.

4-2 Edina, they are due to break out of this freefall, I think Edina just got a little (or a lot) overconfident.

Both of these teams are overrated.

Any justification behind this comment?

You're right, outplaying and tying a previously 19-0 team and having their coach admit they were outplayed to the Star Trib, just hogwash huh?

I have the Trojans in a good 3-2 maybe 4 with EN win. Edina is always tough at home and will draw a large crowd.
Stay Classy, Minnesota.

 Go take a look at the Eagan-Jefferson thread and you'll see why he called them overrated.

I'll probably take Wayzata 3-1 based on both teams momentum alone.

The home ice could give Edina an edge though...They just have to use it.
Always celly hard.

Wayzata and overrated should not be in the same sentence. They are on fire and playing well. They tied a team no body else could compete with.

Agree - Wayzata is not overrated and are playing very well. Can't underestimate the power of Braemar although it hasn't worked to their advantage lately. If Giles doesn't mismatch lines Edina may take this one - from the games I've seen I think they are deeper with more high end talent. Depends on who wants it more I guess.

Not sure how crowded the Edina side will be, the students have a dance on sat. night.
