SEC match up give perdictions
Re: Stillwater Vs Forest Lake Sat 2/6
I'm gonna go with Forest Lake at the big win over CDH...old goalie85 wrote:SEC match up give perdictions
Most teams would love to have four solid goalies to choose from. The Ponies, however, have yet to find the one that can consistently stand on his head when the five players in front of him get caught with their breezers down. If they find that guy, I believe they can win out the rest of the season. Ponies by a score of 4-3.

I can't believe it....... I don't understand!!!
Congrats FLake..... You are for real!!
In all seriousness...... what is going on with the revolving door in nets for the Ponies???
Pennella played against my WBL JV team and had a 26-save shutout.... Cotter has played JV after a quality stretch late December to mid Jan...... Yet, I see Deifel and Cates have played a couple varsity games..... Is there a punishment going on that we don't know about, between Pennella and Cotter?? Just based on experience alone, I would think Housley would go with the vets..
And, same goes for FLake.... Gaffy has been very solid and proved to be stat-wise effective tonight with a 24-save shutout..... I felt it was a mistake for Gaffy to not be playing versus WBL...... We could be looking at different leaders in the SEC if some better decisions were being made.

By the way, if anyone was still wondering if FL is the real deal, you can officially stop.

Either you weren't at the game last night to witness that weak-kneed Ponie debacle, or you are the ultimate "glass half-full" kind of guy.

Flake is for real. A couple of decent breaks they could go far. They play with a little bit of a chip on their shoulder. Rightfully so. This has been brewing for a while up there and their boys are taking advantage. Silly is the team that thinks they are the old Flake. Woodbury still better but not by much.

In the last 4 yrs at home, they were much more competitive games where they either won, or lost by no more than 2 pts.
