I know Kyle Rau is a junior and not eligible, but he should be Mr. Hockey. His points against EP's strength of schedule is really a great season. Bjugstad's total is also outstanding and Decowski needs some big credit, too. Other than that, these leaders all play pretty weak schedules.

Will someone call Kyle Rau and tell him that tomorrow's semifinal game has been cancelled. I would appreciate it.

I seriously chuckled out loud at this... Kudos, Trojanzie. It's possible you could just do what Hockeyhub and Followthepuck do in give conflicting game times, and convince EP the game is at the incorrect time.

I know he plays a weaker schedule, and Breck is a Class A school, but when I saw Fulton play vs Mahtomedi in the Schwan's Cup championship, I walked away convinced he was a very good player. He plays bigger than his 5'11" frame, and I thought he controlled play Blake Wheeleresque, until I read he was only 5'11".

I would assume he has a chance to move on. He was the best player on the ice that night, Ben Marshall included.

One of my fellow WBL parents told me he thought Brock Nelson was the best/most impressive player during the Elite I league. But, as most people think, whoever is going to the U of M gets the award.

Zurns points with Mahtomedi are pretty legitimate... The conference they play in has got to be, top to bottom, one of the best in the state(3 teams in the top5 A and AA) I know there are others but this is consideration.

you cant take much from points these days as so many schedules are different. So many high school players rack up points and then sit on the bench for 4 years in college. It will be interesting to see how guys do at the next level

I wonder how teams do historically when they have "top scorers". Seems to go against the team concept.

Having some of the best players means you don't have a good team? You must be from Stillwater.

Well, my theory is as undesirable scoring goals is, someone has to do it!

I've always told my son that the kids who score are the unfortunate one who just don't have the skill to play defense!

BTW, as hard as it is for some people to comprehend, scoring goals doesn't make you the best player. I did check back and I see a lot of scoring leaders over the years in weak conferences and on weak teams. That was my question so I did looked up my own answer.

Mad props for answering your own question. Some around here don't care to do that.

As far as scoring goes, never hurts to have some. If your team has a stud that can put the puck in the net, all the better. Might wanna make sure to have a backup plan or 2 come section time as I guarantee other teams noticed that he likes to score a lot and will do everything they can to stop it.

Must be easy for Hendrickson to get alot of points when the Devils are beating teams 22-0!!!!!! No class what so ever.

It bugs me that that hasn't been updated since 1-7-10, the last day that 7AA was the strongest.

I'm sure its a coincidence.....
