Nice Weekend for the ELKS!!
The Elk River Elks will be sending teams to the PW A, PW B, Bantam A and Bantam B tournaments. Nice weekend, looks like a bright future for Sars in a few years.

Now I know why the kids trash talk and throw punches at other teams when they loose. If this is how the parents act you cant exactly blame the kids. I know that the Elk River JGA team has some pretty classy parents that use racial slurs and other sexually explicit comments at other kids. I hope someone controls how these parents act at the games.

I hate smart a## kids from Edina....
All I can say is "daddy's money"...
I am a student at edina high school and I was sitting in the student section the entire game. From what I know the athletic director only told us to stop after we scored the third goal, and the only reason he could do this is he had an area to watch the game from below by the zamboni doors. There is no way this is permanent and even if he wanted it to be he would have to show up at every hornets game from now on and he would have to sit in the student section. However, many of the students did get pretty mad. haha someone threw a hot dog wrapper or something and hit him at the end and he had no idea who it was, you might think that's mean but i find it hilareous he shouldn't be associated with stuff that is out of school, even if it is high school athletics. it wasn't even played at edina.
I BELIEVE THE ORIGINAL POST WAS ABOUT ELK RIVER HOCKEY SENDING 5 TEAMS TO THE STATE TOURNAMENT, NOT THAT THEY WERE GOING TO WIN IT. THE IDIOT WHO GLOATED WAS REFERRING TO THE A PEEWEE TEAM, AND THEY WON TODAY.
OTHER THEN WAYZATA AND EDINA WHO ELSE HAD 5 TEAMS IN THE STATE TOURNAMENT?
EDINA AROUND 1200 SKATERS, WAYZATA 1200 SKATERS, ELK RIVER 500 SKATERS.
AGAIN IT LOOKS LIKE A BRIGHT FUTURE FOR ELK RIVER HOCKEY!
