It's not population of the town / area that the team draws from, it's based on school enrollment.
Breck does not have 3.2 million students enrolled. New Ulm does not have 13,000 students enrolled.

Thats where I think this is flawed.
If Breck had to pick kids solely from kids that live within their school boundaries (if they had them) and their enrollment was on par with these actual small schools...then yes, let them play "A"

yah, Breck doesnt get every player they want..but they sure have a much bigger talent pool than new ulm to choose from..and thats the point of this thread...Roseauverrated wrote:I like how you think that Breck can just hand pick any hockey player they want from the metro area.

New Ulm doesnt deserve to be playing?
Last time I checked they beat the 3 teams put in front of them and won their section that they were put in by the MSHSL...pretty deserving if you ask me....they are just outclassed
