Where is White Bear Playing This Year?
With the building of the new sports complex in Vadnais Heights I have heard rumors that the White Bear boys will be playing at the new place rather than Aldrich as they have in the past. Can anyone confirm this? In my opinion, from what I have heard of the new place there isnt enough seating for some of their bigger games like against Hill-Murray or their play off games where they nearly fill Aldrich.

I am not sure if the boys will be there this year or not. I heard the girls are practicing and playing there this year. I also heard the boys are going to practice there when it is ready. I just wonder if the boys couldn't get out of their commitment to Aldrich in time.wogggieee wrote:With the building of the new sports complex in Vadnais Heights I have heard rumors that the White Bear boys will be playing at the new place rather than Aldrich as they have in the past. The only game that would be affected by the seating capacity would be the HM game. The first round at Aldrich was empty last year. Then they moved to the Coliseum for section semi's and finals.

The game with Cretin at the St. Croix Recreation Center is one of five Suburban East games that will be played there that day.
The schedule for Saturday, December 18th at the St. Croix Recreation Center is:
10:00 A.M. Hastings vs. Park
12:30 P.M. East Ridge vs. Woodbury
3:00 P.M. Cretin vs. White Bear Lake
5:30 P.M. Forest Lake vs. Roseville
8:00 P.M. Mounds View vs. Stillwater

That makes sense. Thanks.

Which teams get stuck with having a home game at St. Croix?wbmd wrote:wogggieee wrote:I looked into the schedule on mnhockeyhub.com and they have the Duluth East and Hill-Murray game listed at Aldrich and the Cretin-Durham-Hall game at the St Croix Rec Center. Yes, very wierd. And it will be a home game for WBL. Looking back over the last couple of years, these teams have split the two regular season games. I find it odd that they would play a game at the St. Croix Rec and cost one team a home game in a very tight SEC.Hankya wrote:December 18th, we are playing the Bears at the St. Croix Recreation Center. I don't care as long as the student sections are facing each other.BodyShots wrote:Why? Do you like looking over at empty seats 90% of the time?wblhockeyfan8 wrote:I had heard from some of the guys that the team couldn't get out of the Aldrich commitment in time.
Thank god, I don't wanna spend my senior year watching home games at an arena with seating on only one side.
Always celly hard.
