Bemidji must have just reloaded.... What did they lose, three of their top five scorers? I don't think it will take six overtimes in sections this year though.elliott70 wrote:From my perspective as of Friday 12/10 7 AM

Roseau Rams at 0 and 4 to start the season! When is the last time a Rams team got out the gates 0 and 4?
Burrrrrrmidge is tough this year. Look out St. Cloud Tech!!

Roseau 0-4...
I do not think I have seen that for 20 years...
As I indicated on another thread, it appears that this squad needs better D-play and goaltending... They have the offense to compete and win, but they continue to give up too many goals and lose so far...
Should the Rams solve this Dman/Goaltending problem, and grow through the season, they will be in the mix in March for 8AA, if they do not, they will have to look to next year when Yon and Strand move up from bantams...
But that may be the same problem, score 5-6 goals in a game and lose...

Are you kidding me?
Now 0-5 after the loss to Hibbing??? I am stunned.... who saw that coming? Be honest now.
Will they get their first win against the Spuds Tuesday night?

Unless they pull up the bantam A goalie.

OUCH !
6AA has #1 EP, #2 Wayzata, #3 Benilde, and #9 Tonka, all a combined 16-0 this year. Don't even talk.MrBoDangles wrote:Bemidji must have just reloaded.... You will see a couple of those walk away from the others. The 8AA teams are not as strong on average, but are a lot closer in talent with each other.....HockeyMN1 wrote:6AA has #1 EP, #2 Wayzata, #3 Benilde, and #9 Tonka, all a combined 16-0 this year. 8AA
1. St. Cloud Tech
---They lost the opener against Benilde but looks like they played well against a high ranked Brainerd team. We will keep an eye on them as they face some tougher opponentsbut for now they look to be a highly competitive team
2. Bemidji
---Played a tough game against moorhead and edged out the tie. They have also beat Warroad. Only time will tell to see where they fall. Its to early to tell with this team.
3. Moorhead
--- with a record of 1-1-1 they are off to a rather slow start after a runner up season last year. their only win comes against fargo south and they tied bemidji and lost to Roseau giving them their first win.
4. Brainerd
---They seem to have just run up the score against poor opponents. Not a team to overlook but they could easily find themselves at the back of the field in this tough section.
5. Roseau-- After a REALLY slow start they got their first win against Moorhead in a close one. This could be the start of a turn around for the Rams but only time will tell to see if they can turn this season around.
This section is CLOSE. It seems that almost any team could win on any given day. Cant wait to see this one play out at the end of the year.
