Armstrong and St. Louis Park this year?
As my hockey knowledge extends not much farther west than 35 E, I've always been curious about the prospects of certain west side teams, especially these two for some reason. Do they each have promising bantam talent/numbers or are they in danger of folding/co-oping in the coming years? How do the teams look this year?

Armstrong has two really good players in Defensemen Matt Ripka and Jack Goihl. Goihl played in Elite Development League this fall. Sophomore Blake Babineau's hockey bloodlines are good (dad coaches Hudson in Juniors) and he was a very good player on Bantam A last year.
Danny Dmohoski is a Junior who is on his 3rd year skating a regular shift as a wing. Great speed, I haven't seen him play since 9th grade but he was skilled back then. About half of Armstrong/Cooper Bantam A from last year went to Benilde, the other half to Armstrong. No players are attending Cooper.
There is NO Armstrong/Cooper Bantam A team this year! Only a BB1 and a BB2 which was partially due to Cooper coach NEEDING all 2nd year Bantams to PLAY JV at COOPER to have a team.
SLP's Tyler Brodersen (Top 75 Juniors) was there leading scorer as 10th grader. He is very fast and great puck carrier. He and Nich Gaitan-Gaitan, and Justin Brown (both juniors) are probably their top 3 players. THey have 4 other good juniors in Max Sherno, big D Steven Karl, Nick Fortmeyer, and goalie Ryan Nichols who started 10-12 games as a sophomore. Also, have sophomore goalie Ryan Froom who played well with Advanced15's at St. Cloud (team won title) and at Peterson Goalie Camp. Park has 3 players repeating Bantam A ( Curtis Greenbush, Jake Lukasavage, and Noah Fortmeyer) who will play a lot next year. They also have a few good BB1's.
