The lack of H.S. hockey coverage in the Pioneer Press is aggravating. Last season they stopped including the line score in the game summaries. They also were hit and miss on running the games to be played that day. On Sunday they ran a few scores and summaries, but omitted several, some in the greater Saint Paul area. Of course, the newspaper business is not a growth industry, but jeez, how much space is saved by not running the line score? And if someone reads a game summary in Sunday's paper, it stands to reason that person might have been interested enough to have gone to the game, if only he'd known the time and location; but that wasn't available in Saturday's edition. Maybe a few polite emails to the sports editor would help.
