Minnetonka's drop off has been amazing, unfortunately I think the same fate might befall EP next year.
EP two out of three.

3-2 Tonka with about 4 minutes left. Tonka going on there 6th power play. Radio announcer making it sound like refs are alittle biased.

Hibbing goalie

#1 will keep that team in all games they play. Very poised in the net. Nice game against tonka and good luck this season bluejackets...

Looks like the Hibbing goalie stood on his head... 41-14 SOG Tonka. This appears to be consistent with what folks have been saying about Tonka... good offensive fire power and young inexperienced D/goalie (2 goals on 14 shots). According to MNHub looks like Frawley's line came through offensively. Anyone at the game at any more color... How did the Tonka goalie look. We (STA) have them next week and lookie for scoop on the Tonka goalie...

I did attend this game but got there before the 2nd period started. From what I saw Tonka's passing was pretty horrific compared to their team last year, and also their size is down as you could imagine that is what losing 4 D1 players would do. Also one thing that I thought I noticed was that Tonka was hitting quite a bit more in this game compared to last year. It could be just that it is one game or that they are trying to be more physical this year. The Tonka goalie Glockner seemed alright, I'm not really sure what insight I could give you on him, he did make a glove save on a break-away to save the game for Tonka and I believe prevent it from Tonka being down 3-1. The D for Tonka gave up probably around 3 or 4 break-aways through poor passing in the offensive zone and some bad decisions by inexperienced D men. All in all it seems like their D and the passing needs to improve in tomorrows game if they want to beat Roseau and any team for that matter.
