Big Games & Predictions – Week 8 (New Year)

With the various Holiday tournaments now behind us, we enter a New Year and 'Week 8' of our ongoing "Champion Prognosticator" contest. Most teams will be resuming play within their conference, and some very interesting battles can be expected.

For this particular week there were not that many “Big Games” that met our usual definition, so I thought we would expand our horizons a bit and add several other match-ups that feature some different teams and which promise to be very competitive.

As usual we welcome any and all forum readers to participate: just pick a winner and score for each game. One point will be awarded for each game in which the winner is picked and a bonus point will be added for each correct score. Here are this week’s games:

Wow - KRACH (the computer) and the "experts" didn't do so well last night... Five of the six games were "upsets" when you look at the collective selections by the group I guess it just illustrates why the games are played on the ice and not on paper, by computer rankings, etc.

I'll say this, WBL got'em at a good time...hopefully next time when Roseville has their full team back the story will be different. Hats off to White Bear, they played hard and stayed out of the box.
