Bemidji @ Grand Rapids
Should be Grand Rapids strongest test in the remaining regular season games. I have not seen the Lumberjacks play and I believe GR's 1st and 3rd lines will step up and bury a few in the net. GR wins this one by a pair.
I am hoping the Lumberjacks win.
Basing it on bantam years, I would say the Jacks by 2.
I had someone tell me that it was the Jacks game because of the Hermantown results but anyone with sports knowledge knows that is not how it works.
I hope it is a good game and no one gets hurt. They both have alot of potential for a good end of the season.

Yeah, after seeing bemidji last night, moorhead is GRs toughest opponent left. Moorhead has got to be the favorite in 8AA. Plus, it seems Moorhead is 2nd, only to DE, as far as GR going into a game already mentally beat, at least in years past.Potatohead9 wrote:Dont forget the SPUDSpipersniper12 wrote:Should be Grand Rapids strongest test in the remaining regular season games. I love seeing people place so much emphasis on one game! You should know better Piper -- even GR has had some bad games! .... Moorhead tied Bemidji and lost to at least one team that beat them. Bemidji has no losses in their section. I am pretty sure that Moorhead will not disregard Bemidji based on one bad game -- most teams have an off night here and there and obviously Bemidji had their turn last night. Time will tell who the Section champ is....should be interesting to follow.

I just got done saying to someone that if I'm Bemidji, last night's loss (if a loss had to happen) couldn't possibly have come at a better time against a better opponent. Think about it - let's say the 'Jacks eaked out a win last night and started to believe in the press (the paper and Bemidji TV have called them "unstoppable" before last night) . Next they have Alexandria, who they should beat, then Roseau and Fargo North before matching up with Moorhead again. Now, would a Bemidji fan rather have them lose last night and refocus, or get lulled into a false sense of where they are at, and have that kind of let-down vs. Roseau or Moorhead? Refocusing right now, after a loss to a good non-section team isn't the worst thing that ever could have happened to Bemidji.

Could not be stated any better than that good luck in the title run to the Lumberjacks.no97 wrote:I just got done saying to someone that if I'm Bemidji, last night's loss (if a loss had to happen) couldn't possibly have come at a better time against a better opponent.
