Mostly St.Micheal-Albertville and Monticello. With a couple players from Maple Lake and Annadale..

They beat Roseau 3-2 last night in Detriot Lakes for the 8aa Championship

Yikes, check mate...already changed sections and classes...where do they go from here?

NWC has always been AA - 5/6 years ago it was Wright County Blades w/ Buffalo, STMA, Monticello, ectt.. Buffalo went on it's own and STMA, Monitcello and a few other communities became North Wright County. I always thought they were in section 8AA - but I could be mistaken..

Quite sure they never changed classes or sections

Where do they go from here? Well, to the Xcel to play in the State Tourney..

SuperStar - Congrats to your girls. Your defense of your squad was unnecessary as I Wild77 was likely referring to Roseau, who moved from 8A to 8AA a couple years ago...some have suggested that Roseau's move was made with aspirations of taking an easier (Warroad-less) path to the Xcel Center (State).

Congratulations to the River Hawks.....a great group of kids, coaches & parents!

To clear the record, Maple Lake girls actualy co-op with Buffalo.....which is odd since Maple Lake boys play for MAML (Monticello, Annandale & Maple Lake).
