This is what we we have been waiting for!
#4 Centennial Cougars (13-11-2)
vs.
#1 Maple Grove Crimson (21-3-2)
game time 6pm at the Fairgrounds.
Maple Grove won the first meeting 3-2 in overtime, very even game.
second mathup was just as even and finished in a 1-1 tie.
I dont see any reason that this game will go any diffirent, down to the end and maybe OT.

That is very true...in fact if that goal would have stood I'm pretty sure Centennial would have been moving on instead of the Crimson.mnhock92 wrote:Centennial scored to make it 4-1, goal was waved off due to net being off. Maple grove quickly scored two goals. That took the steam out of Centennial.
But talk about an exciting game to be at!!!
Can't wait to see the replay of the goal from one of the Maple Grove players. One of the best I've seen in recent memory. Especially at that point of the game. I believe it was the game tying or go ahead goal. Great goal though.
See you all on Friday!!!!

Yep, that goal being waved off and MG responding quickly with a goal changed the game. It was a very even game to that point, great game to watch. But in the end, the likely better team is moving on. The Osseo/Blaine game was very entertaining. I think both teams did a good job of shutting down each team's star player so it was their supporting casts who took the show. Both teams sure moved the puck up and down the ice really well. This was an absolutely entertaining game.

2 great games! All four teams played great! Congrats to Maple Grove and Blaine for reaching the finals. What a game this should be. Key for both teams. First Maple Grove needs to start stronger, they seemed a bit sluggish in the first. For Blaine way to many turnovers in their own zone, it was painfull to watch at times. I'm sure both teams will clean it up and we should be set for one hell of a game!
