2 minute minor for that?

that was very dangerous play. No reason for that in High School hockey.

I cant stand those knee to knee hits. Those are career enders

I dont think a lot of the times players intend to do the knee to knee contact especially at the high school level. Many times your going in for a check and you see your going to miss its just kind of a reaction to put body parts in front of them to prevent the skater from getting by you. At least in my opinion I dont think the player was 15 feet away saying to himself I'm going to take out this kids knee. He also did hit him with his shoulder a little bit to but could only tell in instant replay.

Stuff like that happens all the time, it was a reaction type thing to get in his way and he had no intent to hurt him.

he was obviously frustrated by the score, and blatantly stuck his knee out and clipped the other kid.

Obviously huh? Could you see his face expression during live t.v. and your just good at sensing that stuff? your ASSUMING he was frustrated by the score, but this happens all the time as a reaction.

cant believe you are defending a KNEE to KNEE hit. Its uncalled for, and could have seriously injured the TRF player

Is what he did a penalty, yes. Was the TRF player alright, yes. He didn't mean to do it on purpose and I don't see why this has become such a big deal. Knee to knee hits happen all the time and this wasn't even a bad one.
