White Bear Lake vs. Lakeville North

Post by BearsSensGophs »

Even the consolation final needs a thread!

Anyway Lakeville seems to have an awesome goalie but ill still take the bears 4-1

Kinda hoping Mac can get a trick and finish the season with 40 goals!

Sad day though, last time we get to see the big 3 skate in WBL colors.

I'm hoping the Bears can win this one without going through another double OT

Gotta love sub-.500 teams that make it to state and even end up in the consolation final. That being said.... Bears 4, Panthers 1.

Next weekend, my sentimental favorite will be the 6-24 Anoka Tornadoes girls basketball team. A team that was 2-24 as of the end of February!

They did! Knocking off, leaving Duluth Central, Duluth East, Andover, and Cambridge-Isanti in their wake. Anoka was the #9 seed.

According to MSHSL they have seven 9th graders on their roster (from a high school of 2,500). There must be a story there...

Wahlins career and Jansens senior season will stand out to me for a long time.

Jansen is a heck of an athlete, he just needs to be more versatile in his hockey game.

He tries to beat defenders one on one on the outside EVERY time on the rush. It isnt B Bantams.

3-3, 30 seconds to play. Sounds like the bears have had 10 penalties.

Really? Thats pretty atrocious. Makes you wonder if they just didn't care about the game or if they thought they were going to win easily.

My buddy at the game says refs have been awful.

Lakeville scored twice within 2 mins to force OT. Dirty hit on Wahlin gives WBL the PP
