Lakeville North & South, and Rosemount have players on more than one team.

I believe it is similar to the Elite league in that a coach from any team is allowed to pick players from outside their 'normal' area if that player is available. Coaches watch all the tryouts and see all the players - not just players from their area. That allows them to try and get all the 'best' players on the teams rather than taking a lesser player because of location.

do the players tryout in their home area or are they asked to tryout in a foreign area. or do they not tryout at all.
a third or the players on the south team are from somewhere else

Looks like mostly players that got some varsity time last year were selected, espeacially the South team.

Players that are still eligible to play at the Bantam level (Birth dates 7/1/96 - 6/30/98) during the 2011 - 2012 season who did not play at the high school level during the 2010- 2011 season ARE NOT eligible to participate in the league (by MN Hockey rule).

There are clearly exceptions to this rule, some of the Advanced 15's from the 102 group in St. Cloud fall in this category. And they are on the rosters.

So will these kids that are bantam eligible be able to play in the league. I see the North team alone has 2 kids by MN Hockey rule not eligible.

Yep. Every weekend. Most of games are at the Eagan rink.

Next Weekend games in Fargo/Shattuck and Stevens Point and with a overnighter to Grand Rapids, MN in Oct.

Other than that most games are played at Eagan with a few sprinkled in at the Super Rink and New Hope.

Some very good games and very good performances.
