Don't tell me, let me guess. Someone that used to play for the Fire and now plays for Sibley?

Isnt there a spotlight we can shine in the sky or some cheesey tune we could sing to get "Scorekeeper" to chime in on this one?

Freytag (Wayzata)
Masterman (Edina)
Sullivan (Eden Prairie)

Those are my top 3 no order. If it werent for shattuck and high school, this list would probably be a little different.

3 other players ive seen that are also very good are:

#19 on Rosemount
#6 on Wayzata
#16 on Maple Grove

The best player that I have seen so far this year is Matt Masterman from Edina. No contest really ... a Man amongst boys out there and could be an impact player right now on a lot of Varsity teams. Undeniably the MVP of the EP Tourney this past weekend.

Other players stand out, like Gillette from Rosemount, Burns from Minnetonka, Sullivan from EP and others. Though I'm not sure that ranking 14 year olds in a public forum is a real constructive excercise, I am sure that the best Bantam A's in the State this season all have '96 birthdays.

When you are having any conversation about the best Bantam A players in the State, I don't think you can legitimately include any of the 98 and 97 players. There are some very, very good 97's and 98's playing Bantam A hockey - some even elite - but the reality in Minnesota, is the elite players at the age group have birthdays in the first 6 month of the age class, this season from July-December of 1996, Masterman included.

I see some of the younger boys names posted, all very good players and even elite for their age, but not included in the Top Bantam A players in the State this season by anybody other than their parents.

I agree with this, I have seen Tullbane and Sitarz play many times. I don't believe neither Of them are in the top 20

Doug Graves

Post by ISpeakPuck »

It disgusts me that a top Bantam forum can pass over a guy as talented as Doug Graves. Although he's not the fastest, strongest, best shooter, or most physically attractive, he's still one of the best Wings in the state. Maybe he doesn't get as much playing time as the rest of his teammates, and he's not really the glue that holds the team together, but boy, can the kid really blend in. He's made a few key assists this season, and really is starting to be decent. He also gets time in at goalie, and has 3 and a half saves. For a struggling Southwest Lakers Hockey Team, he really is a nice compliment to the leagues lead scorer Andrew Underwood.

Apparently School got out a little early and you decided to make a couple new ID"s and post some stuff. Maybe do your homework instead.
