Interested to see how both Eagan and LS respond after losses last sat. Wandering if Taylor will put the Zajac's line out against Kloos' line. Btw, Zajac is an underrated player and someone needs to sign that kid. HHF-is he drawing any interest? WHat about Merchant and those twins?

From what I've seen watching Eagan play the last couple years it does surprise me a little that none of their players have made college commitments yet, but I suspect they will eventually. Zajac is the first MN senior listed on Heisenberg's recruit list, so it's hard to say he's gone unnoticed. He's a big kid with good hands and great hockey sense and plays hard in both ends. Merchant is also listed on Heisenberg's list and he's a very gifted offensive player. Both of those players along with May, Wolfe, and McGovern on D have a chance of playing D1 hockey. The Kuchera twins are good players, especially Nick who plays forward. Both could need to put on some muscle before having a chance to play in college, but that's where a year or two of juniors comes into play, possibly for all of these players.

Eastview over Kennedy big

Burnsville over Rosemount big

Eagan came from being down 2 - to win 4 to 3 - Lakeville score 3 goals on 9 shots. Eagan had 30+ shots

Prior Lake over LV North 4 to 2

Apple valley and Jefferson tie 1 to 1

I have seen Waterloo scouts at a couple of games that I know are looking at Zajac and spoke to one who considers him NHL material if he improves in one or two areas. I heard that Merchant was an NHL "B" list prospect, not sure what exactly what that means. As far as D1 recruitment I have not heard anything substantial but will keep my ears open.

Hey Happy, Waterloo already owns Zajac's rights...he played a game for them earlier this fall and was at the their summer evaluation camp. He also was draft eligible last year and was passed up so I think the NHL talk is a little over the top.
