Hastings (2-5-0) at Farmington (3-2-1) 7:15 Schmitz-Maki Arena
The Raiders, losers of two straight limp into this non-conference matchup against the Tigers out of the Missota in need of a confidence boosting win before they head into to the South St. Premier Holiday Tournament. Hastings is giving up an average of one more goal per game then they are scoring, not a good formula for winning games. On a positive note the Raiders penalty kill is tops in the SEC.
Woodbury (4-2-2) at Eastview (3-3-0) 7:30 Eagan Ice Arena
The Royals come in winless in their last three contests and look to get on track before their meeting against SEC foe Hastings in the first round of the SSP Premier. Offense has slowed as of recently scoring only two goals in each of their last three games, goaltending continues to keep Woodbury in every game.
Stillwater (3-0-1 SEC) (4-0-1 overall) at East Ridge (0-3-1 SEC) (2-5-1 overall) 7:30 Cottage Grove Arena
This SEC game matches one of the two teams without a loss against the only team without a win in conference play. Stillwater can take over sole procession of the Suburban East with a win over the reeling Raptors who have lost four straight. The Ponies scored a season high six goals Saturday and continue to play solid in the nets, a nice combination going into the Schwan’s Silver Cup Tourney. East Ridge is struggling in every area, they are not entered in any Holiday Tournament, maybe the week off will help them figure some things out.
