Warroad lost 2-3 in OT to both EGF and TRF, so it is very close between the two.
They have two other common opponents;
Totino
TRF L 4-6
EGF W 5-2
Bemidji
TRF W 1-0
EGF L 1-3
They are both 2-1 against common opponents. They play Tues, Jan 24 in TRF and Tues, Feb 14, until they it should be very close.

It's pretty clear that these are the top three teams in the section. A little puck luck in warroad's favor and they would have beat two of the top ten teams in the state, but the puck bounced in favor of east side and thief so this leaves us debating between the two.
Yes thief beat bemidji, and EGF lost to them. Without Zach lawdermilt, who's proven to be an outstanding offensive weapon. (22 points in 5 games) the waves arte undefeated with him in the lineup. Also cory mack joined the line up for the wave last night and picked up right where he left off scoring in his first game back. So bemidji beat a crippled egf, it will be interesting to see how things go in their next matchup.
Thief and warroad will be there in the end, but in my eyes egf is the clear favorite

They both also play Moorhead.
