Don’t know who picks the Hub Spotlight Games but this one should have been one!
Lots of history between these 2 teams and also LS Conference game. If Hawks win, they win conference and remain undefeated.
If not, then both teams are 6-1. CEC would like nothing better than to tarnish the Hawks 20-0-0 record.
It should be a great game. Hawks 5-3.

Of the 10 common opponent games between the two teams, Cloquet has only done better than Hermantown in 3 of them and has lost 3 of the others. The edge from comparisons goes to Hermantown but playing in Cloquet should help the Lumberjacks. Should be a good one.
Cloquet has allowed more than 3 goals only twice this season and only to Duluth schools, East and Marshall; can Hermantown be the third?
Hermantown 5-3

Cloquet has beaten Hermantown 2 years in a row so I think that the Hawks will have a little extra motivation behind them this game. Always a good rivalry game in any sport. If Hermatown's D play like they have for most of the year it's going to be a long night for Cloquet's forwards. I'll take the Hawks 5-2.

Hermantown
Can someone, once again, tell me why Hermantown and Duluth East do not play each other?
Of course, locally, I will never understand why Hill-Murray and Cretin-Derham Hall do not have an annual game.

There is a whole thread about this somewhere.stpaul wrote:Can someone, once again, tell me why Hermantown and Duluth East do not play each other?

Hermantown dropped East from their schedule when East left the LSC.

I can't believe I am even responding but I think you have your facts backwards.Hawkyfan70 wrote:There is a whole thread about this somewhere.stpaul wrote:Can someone, once again, tell me why Hermantown and Duluth East do not play each other?
