I guess Mound didn't walk through the section like all their parents and players said they would..................welcome to Section 2!
Good job Hutch, see you at state next week!
Jeers to the ADULT from Mound walking around after the game saying Hutch sucks and you'll get destroyed at state. You sir were an embarrassment to your town, yourself and to the Mound players who played a great game.

Congrats to both teams. Sounds like the game could have gone either way. Hockeys' a passionate sport and sometimes parents/fans forget it's about the kids. I am sure an isolated event since their are lots of good supportive hockey people in both communities. Best of luck at state Hutch and now that Mound has a taste of a section final I am sure they will be energized for next year.

Any overtime game is a tension filled proposition, but especially in a section Championship game..
It sounds like all parents and players can learn something from this game. Wins and losses are learning experiences, and should be done with dignity no matter which side of the game you end up on.
Good luck to Hutch at state next week, and good luck to Mound in upcoming seasons.
It's less about what happens when you get to the "X", and more about the experience of being there. Enjoy the time, and make sure outcomes don't stand it the way of making good memories.
