D. East vs D. Denfeld
How long will it take before running time? And when will Ben Campbell start another fight with the 'Hounds'?
Re: D. East vs D. Denfeld
Yep...I think Denfeld will be up by a touchdown by the end of the 1st.Firetruck12 wrote:How long will it take before running time? And when will Ben Campbell start another fight with the 'Hounds'?

4-1 final; Denfeld scored in the final minute. Shots 45-14 East.
Zach Thompson deserves a shoutout here. In 4 career starts against East, he singlehandedly kept his team in 3 of them, giving up 2, 3, and 4 goals, respectively. I believe East took over 45 shots on goal in each of them. Even last year's blowout was kept relatively close until a late major penalty let East cruise to a large margin of victory. He's done a nice job of stepping up in this semi-rivalry.
Not East's most prolific week, but they did what they needed to do, and Randolph appears to be toying with line combinations and strategies. Might as well take advantage of this stretch to tune up for the playoffs.

Agreed - Randolph was messing around with line combos and defensemen pairings. He also has changed up his forecheck with each line seemingly by the period during each of the past 4 games. Also, East goes from not having a game for 9 days to embarking on an NHL-type schedule with 4 games in 7 days. They did just fine. Randolph might as well continue to tinker during upcoming games with two chump teams, Tartan and Hastings.karl(east) wrote:4-1 final; Denfeld scored in the final minute. Shots 45-14 East.
