Blaine vs. Coon Rapids @ Champlin

Centennial vs. Anoka @ Champlin

North Metro vs. Maple Grove @ Coon Rapids

Champlin vs. Osseo @ Coon Rapids

here are my picks for tonights game

Blaine over Coon Rapids in a blow out

Anoka over Centennial in the upset special for the night

Maple Grove over North Metro easily

Champlin over Osseo and this game will be closer than many think

Blaine. Maybe not tonight, I see a good chance in the second round. The way the coach is playing all four of his lines weather their up on the score or by only 1 or 2 pts, or losing he still plays them, and the power play is o.k. at best .

I think this will finally be the year Maple Grove goes to state. I may be a WBL fan, but I live in Blaine and very close to their home rink. I've seen them play twice this year, and I believe their impressive state appearance streak will finally come to an end this season. They just don't have the overall talent they've had over the last few years. With that being said, Malvin is a solid goalie and he could steal one like he did last year against Maple Grove.

Either way, I'm looking forward to the 4AA and 5AA section final games next Friday.
