6AA & 2AA Section Final Tickets at Mariucci?

Post by icehornet »

Can tickets for these games be purchased at each school? I know people have talked about the lines being very long and people even getting turned away in past years. Any info would be appreciated.

I know you can buy them at Burnsville, not sure if at the HS or the rink, and another poster said you can buy them at Pagel Mon-Wed morning.

I know you can for State games; however, I am unsure about section games...

tonkafan77 posted this in another thread:

For anyone that lives in the Western suburbs or who is willing to make a trek out to Pagel, tickets will be available early if you do not wish to purchase them on site.

Monday- 10am-4pm
Tuesday- 9am-4pm
Wednesday- 9am-11am

Cash only- $10 for adults/seniors, $7 for students and as always- it is good for both games.

I live in southern MN and want to make the trip up but dont live near any of the schools playing. Is there a chance that i would get shut out of tickets if I go to buy them at the door? Would hate to make the long trip up and not be able to get in. Also, is there a way to purchase tickets online? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I doubt you would get turned away. From my experience, they oversell the place because they know people will leave after the first game. That being said, I would get there at least a half hour early. If you get there around six, ticket booths will be a zoo and you might miss quite a bit of hockey, plus you might need to wait until the second game to sit, especially if you have more than one person. So basically, the moral of the story is get there early and you'll be okay, get there late and you'll still get in, but you may use a few four letter words in the process.

In Nerd's defense, the prices listed were in regards to prices at Pagel. It's possible he/she did read the thread and thought prices may be different at Mariucci on the day of the game...

I emailed the Mariucci ticket office today and they said that tickets are available at Mariucci ticket windows starting tomorrow at 2pm if you can't make it out to one of the schools today.

Tickets are also available at Edina High School from 11:30-1:00 tomorrow. Or that's what I last heard, might want to call to make sure they still have some before driving over.

The broadcast schedules for both MSBN and foxpreps - as just posted in the sticky at the very top of this forum - have the 2AA final at 6:00PM and the 6AA final at 8:00PM. Doesn’t 6AA go first? That’s what the Hub is showing…anyone know for sure which is right?

The 6AA game is first, at 6pm and the 2AA game is at 8pm for sure. I just double-checked on the MSHSL website.

Thanks, that's what I thought, but when I saw that BOTH MSBN and foxpreps had it reversed, I was wondering if they made a late change.

MSBN went off the section bracket that was reset on the MSHSL website months ago and it still listed last year's times for each section. Apologies for the confusion. Section 6AA starts at 6:00 pm with 2AA to follow. Hope to see everyone down there, if not, listen on MSBN!
You're listening to HS hockey on MSBN
