Elk River 12UA non D10 scrimmage opportunity

Elk River 12UA has 1 hr of full ice on Sunday October 28th @ 2:05 pm. If you would be interested in scrimmaging , please message me. First come, first served.

Did I hear correctly that there are only 6 12A teams in D10 this year? Last year there were 12 or 13. Sounds like everyone will play each other 4 times this season. Maybe that is common in other districts, but it hasn't happened in D10 for several years.

That is correct only 6 teams. Must be a down year #'s wise in the north metro

Correct, only 6 teams and it appears that everyone will play each other 4 times (from Andover's website). There was the same drop two years ago at 10A. D2 had six teams last year too, but only played each other twice and had to try to make that up through scrimmages (which is tough to schedule). As for D10, there are several co-ops going this year, so it will make for better competition (Anoka-Princeton, CR/SLP, Blaine/St Francis). Andover is back on their own after one year with Forest Lake.
