Thursday 12/27 @ 11:00am BSM (11-0-0) vs. Chaska Chanhassen (6-5-1)The opening game features #1 Ranked Benilde-St. Margaret’s Red Knights versus the Storm Hawks of Chaska/Chanhassen lead by senior Kaitlin Storo (13g-8a-21). The Red Knights powerful offense averaging over six goal’s per game will be missing leading scorer Kelly Pannek (13g-20a-33) but still have plenty of offense with Junior’s Brittany Wheeler (12g-14a-26) and Caitlin Reilly (13g-11a-24).

Thursday 12/27 @ 1:15pm Cretin-Derham Hall (7-4-0) vs. Minnetonka (9-1-0)#20 Ranked Cretin-Derham Hall is lead by senior forward Caitlyn Russell (9g-10a-19) and sophomore net minder Emma May (.904 SV%). The Raiders with 2nd year coaches John and Krissy Pohl behind the bench are looking for a first round upset against #2 Ranked Minnetonka. The Skippers also will be missing a couple junior defensemen Sydney Baldwin (6g-9a-15) and Sidney Morin (3g-9a-12) to the USA National Team. They are still well-healed up front with senior leading scorer’s Amy Petersen (13g-15a-28) and Laura Bowman (12g-12a-24). The Skippers are anchored by goaltender Sydney Rossman with a stingy .946 SV%.

Thursday 12/27 @ 3:30pm Eagan (7-4-0) vs. Anoka (6-6-1)#19 Ranked Eagan will be counting on Freshman Brooke Madsen (7g-13a-20) for offense with the absence of senior Megan Wolfe (16g-10a-26) with the USA National Team. Anoka comes with a powerful one-two punch with Senior Forward Emilie Brigham (15g-15a-30) and Junior Blair Parent(12g-13a-25).

Thursday 12/27 @ 5:45pm Eden Prairie (9-0-3) vs. Cloquet/Esko/Carlton (5-5-2) Undefeated and #3 Ranked Eden Prairie comes in averaging 2.33 goals against per game and are anchored by Senior Defenseman Tess Roehl (0g-8a-8) and Senior Goalie McKenzie Johnson (.891 SV%). Offensively the Eagles have a dual threat with sophomore’s Charly Dahlquist (16g-10a -26) and Angie Heppelmann (11g-13a-24). The C.E.C. is led offensively by forward Emily Gustafson (12g-11a-23). They are scoring over 4.5 goals per game.
