Thief river falls
Is thief river falls a dangerous team right now?Their next 4 challenging games are,Breck,Roseau,Moorhead, and east grand forks. How do you see thief river doing against these teams? They are on a 10 game winning streak right now, probably 11 game winning streak before they meet these teams. And also do you see them going to the X for a 3rd year in a row?

I would never count out a Tim Berglund coached team. They has a shot at 3 in a row trip to St. Paul.Prowlerhockey wrote:Is thief river falls a dangerous team right now?Their next 4 challenging games are,Breck,Roseau,Moorhead, and east grand forks. Agree with the coaching. Good coaching can make a great difference at HS level. This TRF senior group was not all that good as Bantams so to see their success this season especially after poor start to season leads one to believe having a coach that played in NHL and captain of Gophers is a good thing!

I think TRF is dangerous right "now". Their stretch of consistent play and ability to leave it all out on the ice has made them dangerous. Unfortunately, I think they are playing the best hockey they are going to play this season. I believe they may have leveled out and it will be hard for them to keep building and be able to obtain another X appearance. Other teams they will face continue to show growth and haven't yet reached their full potential. TRF could be successful in making another run if they can stay healthy(very tuff at this point in the year) and find another gear to take their game to the next level. I don't know if they quite have the depth to do so. I think the next meeting between TRF and EGF will be a great indication of which team will be ready to make the run. I think TRF is still flying pretty high from their last meeting with EGF.
