I went last year and had no trouble getting tickets. So anyone concerned about being turned away shouldn't worry.

Will it be better for attendance than 2011? I went that year and wished I had gone to the 8AA final, the games were good, but the atmosphere was terrible. It didn't feel like a playoff atmosphere at all. Empty seats everywhere, especially for the Wayzata/EP game Rau won in OT. I swear over half the seats on the Wayzata side were empty. Even though the talent is down in 8AA, I'm considering going to the 8AA final instead just for a better atmosphere.

Mariucci have any good grub, or am I better off hitting Buffalo Wild Wings first?

One tip about the Section final games at Mariucci - we go every year -

Do your best to arrive at least 45 minutes before the first game if the weather is foul. The lines for the ticket windows go well outside the building around 15 - 30 minutes prior to the start of the first game.

More than once, we have been stuck outside for 10 - 20 minutes in Minnesota's finest imitation of a Siberian spring because we didn't get there early enough. No fun.

Get there early, see you there!
