While Minnetonka won both regular season meetings, this has the makings of an excellent semifinal. The Skippers have the obvious edge in front-end talent with their explosive top line and excellent defensive corps, but the Trojans are deep, play smart team D, and have the edge in goal.
The game will be at BIG at 7:30 on Saturday.

I saw on Twitter that this game is rumored to start at 7:30 at BIG. That would be a bummer because the Girls State Championship is at 7:00 and Minnetonka is expected to be in that one as well. Everyone was planning on going to both but I guess that's not feasible anymore. 
Regardless, it will be a good game. Wayzata's defense has been the only thing that's kept them in the game the last two meetings between these two. If their offense shows up, it could be trouble for the Skippers. I think Tonka will come out on top though. 4-2
