East regions is very tough to predict. Could be mahtomedi, Edina, sibley or tartan. Two of these four will advance but it will be a toss up.

Second round games will be great to watch if no upsets in the first round.

My guess is Hermantown, EGF, and greenway are the three teams I could see coming out of north region

Hermantown beats east 2-0 in a scrimmage. They've now beaten 4 of the 7 other teams in this region at least once.

Virginia beat Hermantown A both times they played them also beat DE but couldnt get out of district 12 with Greenway and losing to Eveleth/ME by one. I think you are under estimating them and giving the hawks a little too much credit

Thunderstruck...Virginia???? They never had a chance in districts...no district wins during the year or playoffs. They tied hermantown in the beginning of the year but I'd very surprised of they beat them and east Virginia was horrible this year at this level.
