I'll go with the favorites (by seeding) in all except for Hutchinson, Brainerd and Duluth Marshall.

My viewing lineup for the night: Edina-Burnsville (Prep45), Denfeld-Marshall (local TV), Wayzata-BSM (Prep45).

Great start for Burnsville, but they have a long ways to go.

Burnsville goalie misplayed a puck behind the net and Edina capitalizes. 2-1 Edina late in the 1st.

Awful miscue. Hard to beat a more talented team when you give them goals like that.

Burnsville needs to regroup during the break and re-capture the form they showed early in the 1st.

Both teams look more effective when they carry the puck in than when they dump and chase. That's a bit surprising for a big playoff game, but I suppose the big ice sheet at Mariucci may influence that. Not sure if that gives one team a decided advantage; Edina has more scoring depth, but Burnsville needs that top line to have a big game, and anything that frees them up is a good thing.

Account most of that to 7 minutes to 0 in penalty minutes, including a 5 minute major in the 2nd. At the beginning of that 5 minute PP (2 goals they scored on it), shots were 15-10 favoring Blaine. After it was done shots were near 30-10

Duluth Marshall up on Denfeld 2-1 after 1. Lots of back-and-forth hockey; pretty even and some big saves from both goaltenders. Denfeld has a bit of PP time carrying over to the 2nd.

Kinda like yesterdays game where Roseville dominated WBL on the shotclock and still lost by a goal
