Not a lot of movement from mid-terms. Tommy Vannelli jumps to the top of the Minnesota HS class at #44, one spot ahead of Connor Hurley. Kivilhalme, Avery Peterson, Besse, Reno, Pionk all still figuring into the picture, top 150 or so.

Charlie Lindgren makes the goaltender's ranking. Congrats to him.

Little bit surprised Cammarata didn't break the top 100. Cammarata played with Mckinnon (which is in the #2 spot) at Shattuck. Cammarata had more points maybe is it his size which didn't get him a higher ranking? Obviously he has the scoring punch, vision of the ice etc.

He's too small. Why waste a high round pick? Draft him in the later rounds and hope he develops his game during College. He has had great success so far but he has not played in a "physical" league yet. It will be fun to watch him with the Goph's over the next few years.

My assumption was High School players are typically required to play in the USHL to get accustomed to the pace in College which leads me to why would the USHL not be a "physical" league? Grant it there are a handful of players that take the jump from High School to College

No matter how you spin it, Cammy that low is a joke. These rankings tend to be the same.

Oh yeah, guys with 'umpteen' years of NHL scouting experience what do they know about hockey talent at that level.

All it takes is a look at all the early round busts and the late round (or undrafted guys) that make it to know that scouts are hardly infallible with their evaluations.
