Moorhead - AHA

Post by KnightTime36 »

After Centennial showed us that AHA is in fact human, I believe that tomorrow night's game should be a great one. I think that the stars are no longer the heavy favorites and the game will be won by whoever can make the least mistakes, especially on special teams.

But thats just my opinion, I could be wrong. What do you think?

What it is... Its Knight Time Baby!!!

it's going to be a hard fought battle for the potatoes, they are going to have to make AHA play their game if they want to win. If they don't do this, they will get mashed, especially if Krause isn't in the lineup.

edit...what i mean by making AHA play their game is Moorhead needs to crash the net, not get cute but put on shot after shot, getting the rebounds and putting them on goal, make AHA work to get it out of their zone. If it spends much time in the Moorhead end, Moorhead will lose this game. This is going to be a game with lots of scoring.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... berosum at: 12/29/05 12:40 am

Barribal and company to much for the spudies. The spuds only chance is to drive hard to the net. AHA goalie looked a little weak against Duluth East. Best of luck to both teams. Hope the spudies have a nice ride home after their 8:00 o'clock game.

Good points for Moorhead, I agree they will need to control the puck. AHA is no longer the team to just be physical with, you need to take the puck away. AHA is real good at controling the puck, and moving it around. AHA needs to also crash the net, can't score if you do not shoot. AHA plays well shorthanded, but must stay out of the box in this game.
By the way the game is at 8:30
________________________________
Academy of Holy Angels
2005 GIRLS STATE CHAMPS!
2002 & 2005 BOYS STATE CHAMPS!!
GO STARS!!

Am I the only one who realizes that this is a rematch from the state championship last year?

Spud D-Man need to step up tonight - turnovers turn into goals against AHA. Also - DM can't be out-coached like he was at the ST last year. Example - where was his best player (11) last night in the final minute and a face-off in the M zone, after a WBL timeout - on the bench???? Go figure.

On the Bench???

Post by GoGophers2005 »

Moorhead has more than one top player. Jordy Christian isn't the Messiah. Moorhead has other players who can get the job done. I don't think by having Jordy on the bench that Morinville is getting out coached. Pat Deitze, Micheal Weiss, Devin Nitzkorski, Nick Theilen, have all stepped up for Moorhead. They also have other players who could go out there and handle their own as well. Everybody needs to stop thinking that Jordy Christians initials (JC) stands for Jesus Christ. He is a very good player and one or Moorhead's best but he isn't the only one who gets the job done.

Did you see the last shift? I wouldn't consider that getting the job done - constant WBL pressure and several failed chances to clear the zone. Someone (like 11,who was on the bench) needed to take charge and M was lucky WBL didn't score.

Did you see any great scoring chances for M when 11 wasn't on the ice? Not many.

you make it sound like they are one dimensional. I disagree, they have a coach and goalie and oh I fogot about 15 other kids on the bench that have gotten them this far. It is a team effort, not a single player.
________________________________
Academy of Holy Angels
2005 GIRLS STATE CHAMPS!
2002 & 2005 BOYS STATE CHAMPS!!
GO STARS!!
