Woodbury
Congrats to the Royals for winning the South St. Paul tournament with a 5-3 victory over Eagan.

I think they could actually be somewhat of a contender in Section 2AA.

They are 7-3-2 on the season.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... md>wbmd at: 12/29/05 8:15 am

ya....
Ya they have a good group of forwards, but they won in a shoot out the first game against Johnson with one goal in the shootout. The funny thing is, Anoka took 7th place in that tournament outshooting there opponents somewhere around 110 - 50 in 3 games, and I would be willing to bet Anoka could beat Woodbury. But overall Woodbury got it done and congrats to there team, and they will be a contender come sections.

good, but no contender
ya woodbury isnt a bad team but i wouldnt say theyre a contender for 2AA. Cretin Derham Hall and Hastings would beat them. Cary Wood would also help Tartan put up a good fight against them as well. Woodbury has already lost to CDH 5-1 this season. I think the section goes to CDH or Hastings.

Anoka outshooting opponents
I find the statment funny that Anoka would beat Woodbury when Anoka got beat by Johnson 6-2 the next day. And your shot totals are a little misleading if you figure Anoka had like 50 some shots against a very bad South St Paul Team. I think Woodbury has a nice squad and I think 2AA is a lot deaper than people think. I look at Cretin, Hastings, Woodbury, Johnson and Tartan all as having a shot at this section.
