The Hockey Hub website is keeping real time stats and updates on the game. EGF is up 1-0 in the first at this point.

Aaron Herdt scores for Moorhead at the 11:45 mark of the 2nd.

EGF leads 2-1 now.

EGF badly outshot the Spuds 14-4 in the 2nd. Shots are 22-12 for the game.

Shots were 31-16 for EGF.

Only one empty net goal. Good, physical game. Herdt is a heck of a player...EGF played a great defensive game, only giving up 8 or so shots over the last two periods. Outside of Herdt's goal, Moorhead really didn't have any quality scoring chances.

Wish I coulda got up there to see this one. Sounds like EGF really has a nice team this year. This one really has to taste good - last time they beat the Taters was 14 years ago. Congrats to the Wave & their fans - been a long time coming.
