With East struggling this year, can the Hunters pull it off?

This is easily the closest the talent gap has been between these two in over 20 years. It also may be the closest it will ever really get, since I don't think the Hunters have much in the pipeline beyond these current senior and junior classes.

As long as East can keep the pressure up on Alander (who I assume will start for Denfeld), they should be alright. It would also be nice if East could resolve its goalie situation sooner rather than later.

And even if Denfeld did have some talent in their pipeline, it would usually get diverted into the East pipeline by Bantams anyway. :)

Please, please, please tell us Tom Hansen will NOT be doing the play by play?

I think you should be happy you have televised regular season

Ash Altman makes it 3-2 East after the Greyhounds pin the Hunters in their own end for a long time.

Dow scores a power play goal, but a terrible high stick call by the refs waves it off. Still 3-2 East.

After a slow start, East controlled play in the 2nd period.

I think the Hounds have found their goaltender in Kirk.

East wins a close one 4-3. Their D looked pretty sloppy. But on the bright side, I thought the goal tending was good. Kirk could be the guy.

Very entertaining finish to this one. 2 tough penalty calls against the Hunters in the third but they killed off a big 5 on 3. East gave up some chances when on the PP that Rapids forwards might bury. I don't see East rolling Rapids.

Still not sure why the nets keep coming off their moorings during moderate srums near the post?
