Teams starting to peak

Post by greenway1969 »

The season is moving into the home stretch. Seems like Hibbing is starting to peak. They had a good week with ties with Rapids and Duluth Marshall. Any other teams starting to make a move?

Did they used to be Braves? Changed to Blaze for political reasons...? What is a blaze anyways? Burns, blaze, I guess that makes sense.

This is right, even though people will point to the Hibbing game. I would argue Hibbing is also peaking right now and their goalie Dilley was on fire Thursday night. Their defense isn't perfect, but much better than last year wish was absolutely brutal.

Other teams that seem to be peaking are the previously mentioned Hibbing, maybe Blaine, and Cretin Durham Hall seems to be playing well right now and might be a real threat to STA in 3AA.

Moorhead. 5-3 after humiliating loss to Lakeville North. Two losses by 1 goal and a 3-0 loss to Bemidji. Spuds will win 8AA.

They're peaking as demonstrated by their losses? I'm confused.

They have been playing very well. W-L may not show it, but they have rebounded from the 10-1 loss to Lakeville North very impressively.

vs. Wayzata W 6-5 F/OT
vs. Prior Lake L 2-1 F
vs. Bloomington Jefferson W 3-2 F
at Alexandria L 3-1 F
at Centennial W 2-1 F/OT
at Breck W 3-2 F/OT
at Bemidji L 3-0 F
vs. Warroad W 5-1 F

Played against the easy metro teams but struggle with the tough northern teams.
