Malmquist is increasing his odds for Mr. Hockey, between the Hornets record and his personal performance
He has already passed his point production of any previous full season, presently at 45 points, tied with linemate junior Garrett Wait.
If Im counting right, he now has 155 lifetime cumulative.
Looking forward, doesnt seem much doubt he will end up 2nd lifetime for Edina.
And at least an outside chance of getting 35-40 more to catch Dan Carlson, who I believe finished somewhere around 190. Im assuming that included post season, but Im not completely sure.
Giles is letting him play more a freewheeling offensive style this year on line 1 with other top talent
