my only complaints are the ads after the 1st post in every thread and the clock is different...i think this board holds more topics on 1 page vs the other board...

Not sure that either issue affects the speed, but I will probably move that ad as I am not terribly fond of it either.

This board is currently set at 100 topics per page whereas ezboard has 25 per page.

Not sure what you meant about the clock. You can choose the times that you want displayed to you, the default is GMT which is 5 hours ahead of CDT.
