“I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for Kaitlyn Klein. She is just entering spinal surgery now to repair her C7 vertabra that was injured in today’s game. She has an incredible team of surgeons here at the University of Vermont and is being extremely strong and brave. Please keep up the positive thoughts.”

Important update
Joe Klein:
Thank all of you for your positive thoughts and prayers. Kaitlyn Klein just got out of surgery. The surgeon said things could not have gone better and he was amazed that she didn't have more serious consequences to her spinal cord because her C7 was crushed. She has a loss of strength on her left side, but he feels confident that will heal. Thanks again everyone!!!!
