Rochester Mayo playing two games in one day????

I see this weekend Mayo is scheduled to play Eveleth Gilbert Mesabi East in the afternoon and then take on the Hibbing Bluejackets. Is this common? I would think Hibbing would be favored no matter what but to play them after a game at 1pm and jump on the rink again at 7:30PM seems insane. I guess I am pretty bullish on the Bluejackets winning this one going away.

per the big 9 conference website, they play hibbing at 7:30 on Friday the 18th, and Eveleth at 2:00 on Saturday the 19th.

the hub has them both listed the same day

MSHSL has the correct listing. Mayo plays Hibbing Friday night and then E-G Saturday afternoon.

No chance a team would play twice in a day. You see it in Elite League games, but I haven't seen it in HS.
