Section Rosters?
Does anyone know if you are injured before sections and you miss the first game of sections due to injury, but you are not in the roster can you be inserted into the roster for the second section game, or any section game?

No. You could return for state.Ridingthepine29 wrote:Does anyone know if you are injured before sections and you miss the first game of sections due to injury, but you are not in the roster can you be inserted into the roster for the second section game, or any section game?

No, he can sit in the stands in a sweatshirt for the first two rounds if he wants. As long as he's on the 20-man roster BSM submits to the MSHSL, he can come back and start playing whenever he's capable.WestMetro wrote:Just to give a specific example, must Cade Gleekel of BSM get medical clearance, suit up and skate a shift against Holy Angels Thursday, in order to protect his eligibility for the following Wednesday section final at Mariucci if they make it that far?

I think as long as BSM kept his name on the roster he could return for any section game without playing in a previous one. Unless the rule has changed recently, north bear has it pretty much right on. The player should be originally placed on the section roster, then he can be replaced by a player for medical reasons (doctors note needed I believe), then the original player can be returned to the roster when cleared to play again.
