Anyone as surprised as me at St. Thomas hammering Minnetonka in shots and winning fairly easily? Cadets maybe better than thought. Holy Family looks top 5 for sure, and Edina impressed despite being young. They may have found a goalie.

I didn't see the STA game, but just looking at the box score it looks like a close game since it was 3-2. The shots favored Sta by a decent margin, but the game seemed close. Were you there? Perhaps if you were you could share why it felt so one sided towards the Cadets.

I was pretty surprised that Lakeville South beat Breck by the score 7-3. I thought they would win this game, but they scored 6 goals in the first two periods and I wasn't expecting that kind of offense. I might be mistaken but I thought they were a team that was strong on D, but would struggle scoring, so if they found some offense, perhaps we will have a tight race again coming out of 1AA

I was at the Minnetonka-STA game. The shots basically reflected how the game was played. Tonka is a solid squad but the offensive pressure just wasn't always there at points. STA didn't completely annhiliate them but got 2 quick, beautiful goals in the third to take a 3-1 lead. Tonka got one late and actually almost tied the game at 3 with one second left but the ref blew the whistle less than a second before the puck went in. Great game, great atmosphere. I would say that right now, STA is the better team
