Hockey Hub shows 7:00PM but I have also heard 3:00PM. Does anyone know the correct time? Thanks

1-1 after one period. EP ties score with .4 seconds remaining in the period (Jensen from Johannes). Boltman (fr D) scored edina's goal. Shots 18-15 Edina. Braemer close to full. Edina transitions out of their zone and into open ice as well as any team I've seen this year.

Very fun game to be at. Edina moves the puck well. Not much for breakaway scoring opportunities in this one. First star to EP's Jack Jensen with the hat trick and second star to EP goalie Nick Wiencek with 35 saves (0.921 SV%). Wiencek keep Edina from doubling their goal count.

Awesome game to be at. Nice for EP to win the season series 3-1. But if they play again at the X, which wouldn't surprise me, either team could win.

I thought EP was the more physical team; Edina the faster team (although EP isn't stuck in mud by any means). I think you could see that physicality & size edge in the seniors of EP. Kind of reminds me of Edina in '14 when guys like Fidler & Munson would use their "old man strength" to own some plays down low. But WOW can Edina skate!

I thought both goalies were solid. I think that's the biggest difference for EP this year. While I wouldn't say EP had a sieve the past two years by any means, I think Wincek is good enough to win a game by himself if it ever comes to that point the next few weeks. If an opponent has an edge in goal vs. EP, it's not substantial enough to make a huge difference, IMO.

Message to opponents of both these teams coming up: Don't take a penalty!

Physical & hard nosed at times, but nothing really chippy. Almost like the rivals both know each other is good & either one can beat the other. Awesome game by both teams.

That's another thing I noticed. There didn't seem to be much 5 on 5 hockey. Just off the top of my head, I think Edina had three straight PPs (2nd period?) before EP went on the man advantage. There's no love lost between the teams and both are looking for any competitive edge. Even after Edina had scored a goal, Giles had at least a thirty second conversation with one of the referees before the faceoff.
